Project Manager, Exporter Development

Job Responsibilities
  • Promote Exporter Development Programme (EDP) via trade magazines and bi-monthly speaker sessions.
  • Recruit companies to participate in EDP and undergo training on export strategy, planning and overseas market visit.
  • Work closely with training division to develop and organise industry or market specific workshops relating to exports.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in business development, project management and business consultancy.
  • Good communication, planning and organizing skills.
  • Candidate with regional exposure or prior experience in promoting overseas trade will have strong advantage.

Career Consultant

Job Responsibilities

Your job will be challenging, people-focused and fulfilling, where you will reach out to, advise, counsel, place or raise the employability of Singaporeans through various placement initiatives and training programmes.

You will work in a team-based environment to assist a wide range of job seekers, including matured, less skilled Singaporeans, or out-of-work executives and professionals, and help them identify their strengths for and barriers to employment.  

You will need to be empathic and persuasive, and proactively follow up with your clients to help them overcome their barriers and leverage on their strengths to gain employment.  As part of your assistance to them, you will be required to help them to identify their skills gaps and recommend suitable training to upgrade their skills and/or coach them on job interviewing skills, resume writing and job search skills.  You can also proactively design or suggest new initiatives to raise the employability of job seekers based on their needs.


Requirements
  • Recognised degree or diploma with prior experience in handling recruitment and job fairs. 
  • Passionate about helping Singaporeans improve their employability and skills. 
  • Resourceful, proactive, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; and can demonstrate passion and commitment towards helping individual Singaporeans.
  • Prior experience in voluntary or social work, career counseling, or ability to demonstrate commitment and passion for helping others will be an added advantage.
  • Graduates with an active participation in social or voluntary work are welcome to apply.Mature applicants with empathy and genuine desire to help others are also welcome.

Accounts Executive

Job Descriptions
  • Perform full range of accounts receivable functions, namely raise invoices, statement of accounts, preparation of monthly aging report etc.
  • Perform full range of accounts payable functions, namely payments, process staff claims, bank reconciliation etc.
  • Handle monthly closing of accounts, as well as preparation of reconciliation schedules and financial reports such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet with supporting analysis and commentary on budget/forecast variance and growth.
  • Support Finance Director in preparation of quarterly forecast and budget
  • Manage quarterly GST reporting and prepare audit reports for government grants/programs where applicable
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or other professional accounting qualifications
  • 1-3 years’ accounting experience in a medium size organisation
  • Hands-on experience with any accounting software system
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Meticulous and able to meet deadline
  • Positive work attitude

Executive, Membership

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and recruit new members
  • Plan and organise events including pre-event preparations and post-event update
  • Relationship marketing by maintaining regular contacts with members
  • Submit weekly sales activity reports
  • Make regular cold and service calls
  • Secure sponsorships for events
  • Perform administrative duties including membership application and resignation requests as well as update members’ database
  • Prepare recruitment and resignation reports of members 
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Business or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Possess good account management and sales track records
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Business development - identify and recruit companies  to participate in capability development programmes
  • Create awareness of the different capability programmes through workshops and seminars

 Administrative Officer (2 Positions)

Responsibilities

Position 1 - Administrative Officer (International Trade Development Division) 
  • Provide administrative assistance in the organizing of local and overseas trade fairs, exhibitions and missions
  • Assist in the issuing certificates of origin
  • Handles the co-ordination of meetings and seminars
  • Assist the exhibition executives in the preparation and consolidation of reports 
Position 2 - Administrative Officer (Industry Groups Division) 
  • Provide secretariat support to the various committees
  • Assist in organising events, seminars and talks for the members of specific industry groups.
  • Liaise with members on industry issues. 
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or GCE A Level, with at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Ms Word, Ms Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Resourceful, meticulous and responsive
  • A team player, with positive work attitude as well as excellent planning and organizing skills
  • Able to multi-task and perform effectively under minimum supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities
Career Services
  • Provide customer service support in registration of job/training seekers including verifying certificates / documents) and schedule appointments.
  • Responsible for data entry in job seekers and job bank
  • Administrate job order from hirers and facilitate interviews
  • Assist in tracking outcome of placement and after-care support for successfully place clients
  • Handles statistics and data reporting
  • Ad-hoc duties
Training
  • Provide full administrative support to the sales team for Training Courses.
  • Liaise with training facilitators & coordination works for training classes.
  • Responsible for registration administration, and creation and maintenance of participant records in the database.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and marketing of training programmes
  • Achieve sales targets and meet marketing objectives
  • Involved in coordination scope of work and logistical preparation for training classes and liaison with training facilitators
  • Responsible for registration processes and administration, creation and maintenance of participants' records in the database
  • Attend to customers' enquiries, requests, and registrations with service excellence
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation 

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma holder with at least 2 years' relevant experience preferred 
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications: Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint
  • Prior knowledge in corporate training will be an advantage

  • For 1 - 5 possession of Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) is preferable
  • For 1 - 5 ability to demonstrate the competencies to design, plan, conduct and assess Competency-Based Training that are consistent with the core modules in WSQ training competency framework is preferable
