Director, GS1 Singapore

Responsibilities: Act as an effective interface amongst the GS1 Global Office, GS1 Singapore Board, GS1 Singapore Management Team and GS1 Singapore Registered Users Be responsible for the P/L of GS1 Singapore including the development and implementation of its Business Plan Lead in the standard development and implementation of Bar Coding, eBusiness, Radio Frequency and Data Synchronisation. Participate in the ISO Technical Committee as an expert in the RFID Standard Development

Requirements:   A recognized degree in Engineering, Science and/or Business Administration, with minimum 5 years of good experiences and strong technical knowledge in standards development, bar coding and RFID.  Prior work experiences in the manufacturing, retail, supply chain or IT industry of an international work environment are required  Candidates who are familiar with international standards development and having strong experiences in collaborating with industry bodies, technology provider community and government agencies are highly preferred

Executive - Industry Groups

Responsibilities: You will provide secretariat support to the various function committees, as well as organize events, seminars and talks for the members of specific industry groups.

Requirements: Degree or Diploma with 2-3 years’ relevant experiences in events management, business coordination and/or secretarial support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact well with members at the senior management levels Effectively bilingual in both English and Mandarin as the job requires you to deal with mandarin speaking members Resourceful and able to work independently Excellent follow up skills with great self-initiative and strong organizing skills Proficient in MS Office Preferably able to commence work immediately or within short notice Only Singaporeans or Singapore PRs need to apply
