24th Meeting of the Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee

Yesterday, on August 14th, 2024, President Lennon Tan represented SMF at the 24th Meeting of the Singapore-Sichuan Trade and Investment Committee. Co-chaired by Singapore’s Second Minister for Trade and Industry Dr. Tan See Leng.

As the leading trade association in Singapore, SMF’s involvement in such initiatives at the international level reflects our commitment to further support our members through the availability of overseas business opportunities, particularly in Sichuan, China. This aligns with SMF’s hashtag#internationalisation and hashtag#productivity key pillars, as part of our S.H.I.P core strategy.

As Dr. Tan See Leng aptly stated, "Sichuan is a natural landing pad for Singapore companies seeking opportunities in western China."

SMF members who are interested in learning more about what Sichuan has to offer and how to leverage this bilateral partnership, please reach out to us—we're here to support you!
