An Open Letter of Congratulations

Dear Mr Tharman,

On behalf of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation family, I write to elatedly congratulate you on being elected as Singapore's 9th President with a strong decisive mandate of the people!

The SMF thanks you for spending time and sharing insights and guidance with our members in a dialogue session with businesses.  We confidently believe that your good self and Ms Jane Ittogi will carry the office of the President and First Lady with much distinction and nobility.

We would also like to place on record the SMF's appreciation and gratitude to Her Excellency President Mdm Halimah Yacob for her work in caring for the people of Singapore over the last 5 years. 

The Singapore manufacturing community looks forward to continued engagement with you and wishes you every success as our Head of State!
