Sustainability Transformation for SMEs Seminar

We had an inspiring and insightful day at our "𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗠𝗘𝘀" seminar, where industry leaders and experts shared their knowledge on driving sustainable practices for SMEs in the manufacturing sector.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀:
🔹𝗦𝗠𝗙’𝘀 𝗖𝗦𝗢𝗮𝗮𝗦: Mr. Clement Teo, our Chief Sustainability Officer, shared more about SMF’s CSOaaS Programme, which aims to help SMEs in their sustainability journey.
🔹𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: Dr. Deepak Waikar from Singapore Institute of Technology and Mr. Lucas Tan from National Environment Agency emphasised the importance of energy-efficient solutions and grants available for SMEs.
🔹𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆: Mr. Jen Wee KANG, Founder & CEO of REDEX, showcased how adopting renewable energy can be a game-changer for businesses, offering competitive advantages.
🔹𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: Our panelists, including experts Mr. Patrick Lay (Retragreen Pte Ltd), Mr. Matthew Teo (Innohub), Mr. Jen Wee Kang (REDEX), Mr. Praveen Tekchandani (EY), and Mr. Deepak Waikar (SIT) discussed actionable strategies for integrating sustainability into business operations.

This initiative, alongside services like CSOaaS and GEM Recognition Mark, will support companies in their journey towards ISO 14001 certification and ISSB-S2 compliance.
